Our organisation unofficially started in 2018, when we were coming together socially to kick the ball about and play some social games as a group of retired footballers.

This initiative was spearheaded by one of our founder and Board Members, Grant Gertze.
It was after one such social game that weplayed in memory of one of the footballlegends of Atlantis that had passed on, we started asking among ourselves, "what is it that we really want to do?" - This led to the AFL Atlantis Football Legends being formed.
